What does ScoutRival do?
ScoutRival is an AI marketing operator. Every weekday it watches your competitors, decides the single highest-impact move, drafts it in your voice, and ships it to your channels — or queues it for one-click approval. Not a writer. Not a tracker. The whole loop.
How does it find my competitors?
Drop your business URL. We use a niche graph plus public-web signals to surface 8–12 real competitors in about 90 seconds — not "similar companies" from a stale database. Edit the list anytime.
Will it watch founder accounts?
Yes — on Operator tier and above. We track LinkedIn and X activity for founders you flag. It's the strongest predictive signal in B2B; what they post on Wednesday is usually what their brand posts on Friday.
Can I edit content before it publishes?
Always. Nothing publishes without an approval click unless you explicitly enable auto-publish per channel. Edit inline, regenerate, or schedule for later — same screen.
What languages does ScoutRival support?
English at launch. French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Italian on Agency tier from day one. More on request — if you'd buy it, we'll ship it.
Does it work for B2C, B2B, or e-commerce?
All three. The verdict scoring is tuned per business model during onboarding — pricing pressure matters more for B2C, founder signal matters more for B2B, launch velocity matters more for e-commerce.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free gives you a one-time competitor analysis with three competitors and a sample brief. No credit card. Upgrade later when you want the daily loop.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel inside the app — no human conversation required. You keep access through the end of your billing period and we export every brief and post you've shipped on the way out.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes. Annual is 10 × the monthly price — two months free on every paid tier. Operator becomes $1,430/yr (vs. $1,788 monthly). No tricks.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We notify you and pause the over-limit channel — never the brief. Add the extra competitor or seat ($15 / $25 per month) or upgrade tiers. No surprise overage bills, ever.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Free to start, free to cancel, no implementation invoice. Just the monthly (or annual) price.

How long does setup take?
About five minutes. URL, voice samples, channel connections. Your first brief lands the next morning at 7am local time — even on the free plan.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser. We connect to your channels via their public APIs — no plugins, no extensions, no Chrome stuff to remember.
Can I import my brand voice?
Yes. Paste a URL or a handful of your existing posts during onboarding. We build a voice fingerprint — vocabulary, cadence, banned phrases, structural tics. Every draft inherits it.
What integrations do you support?
Native: LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Buffer, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Ghost, Resend, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Slack, Notion. Plus Zapier and a public API for the rest.

Is my data safe?
Yes. AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, row-level security in Postgres. SOC 2 Type I audit Q3 2026, Type II Q1 2027. Drafts never train shared models.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. Full data export, deletion-on-request, processor agreements available. EU data stays in EU regions on request. CCPA also covered.
Where is my data stored?
Supabase / Postgres, US-East by default. EU and APAC regions available on Operator+ tiers — choose during onboarding.
