ScoutRival vs Jasper

Jasper writes what you tell it to.
ScoutRival knows
what to tell it.

Jasper is a very good AI writer with a real brand-governance system behind it — and it starts at $69 per seat, with no free plan. But it waits for you to know what to write. ScoutRival reads what your competitors published overnight, decides what matters, and hands you the article already drafted — for $29, or $89 with three seats included.

The blank page problem

The hard part was never the writing.

Open Jasper and it asks you what you want. That question assumes you already know — that somebody at your business has looked at the market this week and decided what the next article should be. For a business with no marketing team, that person doesn’t exist.

ScoutRival answers the question before you ask it. Overnight it reads your competitors’ website, blog, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube, and at 7am it tells you: here is what they published, here is the question they now answer and you don’t, and here is the article that closes the gap.

Jasper does ship competitor agents — you can point it at a rival and get an audit on demand. The difference is that ScoutRival is already watching, every day, and it comes back with the work rather than the analysis.

  • Every rival gets a verdict: fight, reposition, or raise your price
  • Delivered to Telegram, Slack or Discord — or just open the app
  • Ninety seconds to read. Nothing to prompt.
The difference that matters

Every tool tells you what to fix.
ScoutRival is the one that fixes it.

A recommendation is a to-do. A draft is done work.

Compose & BlogCraft

Same quality of writing. One fewer decision.

ScoutRival writes 1,000 to 5,000 words in your brand voice, with the answer block AI engines quote, the FAQ schema Google reads, and real citations — then publishes it to your WordPress in one click, natively.

Jasper has no native WordPress integration. Its published integration list runs to Google Drive, SharePoint, Salesforce, Webflow, Slack and the rest — to get a post into WordPress you route it through Zapier, Make or Pabbly. That’s a plumbing job you have to own.

And on Pro, Jasper caps you at two Brand Voices and five Knowledge assets. ScoutRival Pro runs three brands, each with its own voice, its own language and its own competitors.

  • Social posts for every platform, from the same brief
  • 20 languages, set per brand
  • Bring your own AI key on Pro — generation then costs 0 credits
And you’ll know if it worked

Jasper checks three AI engines. We check four.

Jasper’s GEO Diagnostic is genuinely good, and genuinely free — it scores your brand presence, citation rate and sentiment across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. What it doesn’t check is Perplexity, the engine that actually cites sources and sends clicks.

ScoutRival checks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini on every plan from $29 — and grades your site across 27 SEO checks, A–F, which Jasper does not do at all. (Engine lists checked July 2026; Jasper’s GEO Hub is listed under its Business tier.)

Before you decide

Which one of these is you?

Buy Jasper

You have someone whose job this is.

  • There's a marketer or an SEO specialist on your payroll.
  • You need keyword research, backlink analysis and rank tracking — we don't have a keyword database at all.
  • Somebody has the hours to turn a report into a published article.

Their data is the best there is. If that's your situation, it's the better buy — and we'd rather you knew now than after the refund.

or
Buy ScoutRival

Nobody there does marketing full-time.

  • You want to be told what to do today — not handed forty tabs of data.
  • You want the post and the article written, not recommended.
  • You want one bill, one login, and to be live in five minutes.

Questions

The ones you're actually asking.

Isn’t Jasper the better writer?

At the top end, on brand consistency across a team — yes, and we say so in the table. Brand IQ is genuinely good infrastructure. But look at what you’re paying for it: $69 per seat, capped at two brand voices on Pro, with no free plan. And no amount of writing quality solves the actual problem, which is that a blank prompt box doesn’t know what your competitor published last night.

Jasper has competitor agents. Isn’t that the same thing?

It’s close, and we won’t pretend otherwise — Jasper ships Competitor Audit and Competitive Response agents, and they work. The difference is who does the watching. Those agents run when you decide to run them, on a competitor you decide to look at. ScoutRival is already watching six of their channels every night, and it comes to you — at 7am, with the article drafted.

I saw Jasper starts at $49. Why do you say $69?

Because the $49 Creator plan no longer exists. Jasper’s live pricing page shows Pro at $69/seat monthly ($59 annual) as the entry point, with no free plan and a 7-day trial. Half the comparison sites on the internet still quote the dead tier — we checked the page in July 2026 and linked it so you can too.

Can Jasper publish to my WordPress?

Not natively — WordPress isn’t on its published integration list (Webflow is). You can get there through Zapier, Make or Pabbly, but that’s a workflow you have to build and maintain. ScoutRival publishes to WordPress in one click, natively, and it’s included from $29.

Does ScoutRival replace my social scheduler?

No, and neither does Jasper. ScoutRival writes your posts but doesn’t schedule or publish them to Instagram, Facebook, X or LinkedIn — it publishes to WordPress only. Pair it with Buffer ($5/mo) or Publer ($10/mo). Together that’s about $94/month — against $207 for three Jasper seats that still won’t schedule anything.
