ScoutRival vs Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest tells you
where you rank.
ScoutRival tells you what to do —
and then does it.

Ubersuggest is the closest thing to a true head-to-head on price, and its site audit is genuinely good — it crawls thousands of pages a week. But its AI visibility is ten prompts, refreshed once a month, with no Claude and no Perplexity, and Gemini reserved for its top tier. ScoutRival watches four engines from $29 — and turns what it finds into a brief, an article, and a published post.

Data vs. decisions

A rank is a symptom. It isn’t a plan.

Ubersuggest is a keyword and rank tool, and a good-value one. It will show you where you sit, what you could target, and which of your pages are broken. Then it stops, and the hard part is still in front of you.

It also never looks at your competitor — not really. Its “tracked competitors” are keyword and backlink competitors. It doesn’t read the pricing page they published this morning, or the Instagram post that got 400 likes.

ScoutRival watches six of their channels every night — website, blog, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube — and at 7am it tells you what moved, what it means, and the three things to do about it, with the work already drafted.

  • Every rival gets a verdict: fight, reposition, or raise your price

The difference that matters

Every tool tells you what to fix.
ScoutRival is the one that fixes it.

A recommendation is a to-do. A draft is done work.

Compose & BlogCraft

It writes a draft. We publish a finished article.

Ubersuggest does write — its AI Writer and Content Studio will draft and edit an article from your keyword research. We’re not going to pretend it can’t. But Content Studio’s verb is “export”: you take the draft somewhere else to finish and publish it.

ScoutRival writes 1,000 to 5,000 words in your brand voice — grounded not in a keyword you guessed at, but in the gap it found in a competitor’s content — with the answer block AI engines quote and the FAQ schema Google reads. Then it publishes to your WordPress in one click.

The engines, honestly

Ten prompts. Once a month.

That’s Ubersuggest’s AI-visibility allowance on the entry plan — 10 prompts per project, refreshed monthly. One snapshot every thirty days. Its engines are ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews — no Claude, no Perplexity — and per their own tooltip, Gemini is reserved for the top tier.

ScoutRival checks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini on every plan from $29. The honest flip side: Ubersuggest’s site audit crawls 1,000–10,000 pages a week and ours is a 27-check audit — theirs goes wider. Read from their pricing table, July 2026.

The stack tax

What you get
for roughly the same money.

Ubersuggest publishes a range of US$29–US$99 and renders its exact tier prices in-browser, so we won’t quote numbers we can’t source. Here is what the entry plan actually includes — compared with ScoutRival Starter, at $29.

Before you decide

Which one of these is you?

Buy Ubersuggest

You have someone whose job this is.

  • There's a marketer or an SEO specialist on your payroll.
  • You need keyword research, backlink analysis and rank tracking — we don't have a keyword database at all.
  • Somebody has the hours to turn a report into a published article.

Their data is the best there is. If that's your situation, it's the better buy — and we'd rather you knew now than after the refund.

or
Buy ScoutRival

Nobody there does marketing full-time.

  • You want to be told what to do today — not handed forty tabs of data.
  • You want the post and the article written, not recommended.
  • You want one bill, one login, and to be live in five minutes.

Questions

The ones you're actually asking.

What about the lifetime deal? That’s cheaper than you forever.

It might well be — and we’re not going to quote a price we can’t source, because Ubersuggest renders its prices in-browser and its lifetime tiers have changed repeatedly. Two honest things instead. Per their own page, lifetime purchases are “final and non-refundable” and the free trial is monthly-only. And the deeper point: a lifetime plan buys you lifetime access to a dataset. ScoutRival isn’t a dataset — it’s work product. A keyword database doesn’t write next Tuesday’s article.

Ubersuggest has AI visibility too. Why does yours cost the same?

Because ten prompts a month isn’t really visibility tracking — it’s a monthly snapshot. That’s their published entry allowance: 10 prompts per project, refreshed monthly. And the engines are ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini reserved for their top tier (their tooltip, not our inference) and Claude and Perplexity absent entirely. Ours checks all four, from $29.

Doesn’t Ubersuggest write content as well?

Yes — AI Writer and Content Studio will draft and edit an article, and we won’t pretend otherwise. The differences are where the article comes from and where it goes. Ours starts from a gap we found in a competitor’s content, not a keyword you had to pick; and it publishes to your WordPress in one click, where Content Studio exports a draft for you to take elsewhere.

Isn’t their site audit better than yours?

Wider, yes — it crawls 1,000 to 10,000 pages a week, and we say so in the table. Ours is 27 checks graded A–F with fix cards ranked by what each one is worth. Different shape: theirs covers more pages, ours tells a non-expert which three things to fix first. If you have thousands of pages and someone to read the report, theirs is the better tool.

How current are these numbers?

The limits and engine lists were read from Ubersuggest’s own pricing table in July 2026 and linked. Note that their exact prices render in your browser rather than in the page, so we quote only the range they state publicly ($29–$99) and never a number we can’t point at. If something’s changed — including if you work there — tell us and we’ll fix it.
