Connect Telegram
Open Channels → pick Telegram
In ScoutRival, go to Channels → “Where should we deliver?” and select Telegram.
Set your hour + timezone, then click Connect Telegram
Choose what time you want the brief and your timezone (search for your city — it shows the live local time). Click Connect Telegram — it opens our bot in a new tab, inside your Telegram app if you have it installed.
Press Start
In the bot, press Start. That links your chat automatically — we capture the rest, no IDs to copy. The channel flips to Verified.
Once it says Verified, your brief will arrive in this chat at your chosen hour every day.
The Connect Telegram link carries a token, and until it's used anyone who has it can attach their chat to your brief instead of yours. Don't paste it anywhere, and blur it if you record or screenshot this screen. Pressing Start consumes the token, so the link stops working the moment the chat is linked.

Don't want to wait until tomorrow? Click Test on the channel row to fire a sample brief into your Telegram chat right now.
Troubleshooting
- No “Connect Telegram” button? The bot isn't configured for your workspace yet — reach out to support.
- Pressed Start but still “pending”? Switch back to the ScoutRival tab — it refreshes itself when you return, and the channel should read Verified. If it doesn't, re-open the connect link from Active channels.
- Closed Telegram before pressing Start? The channel sits in Active channels as Pending with its own Connect Telegram link — open that to pick up where you left off. It stops holding a slot against your plan after fifteen minutes, so an abandoned attempt won't block you from connecting something else.
- Want a different chat or group? Add another Telegram channel and connect it from that chat.
