Seats & buying more — one person, one seat.
How many seats each plan includes, why the owner and pending invites count, and how Agency lets you add more — each extra seat bringing 1,000 credits with it.
A seat is one person on your team. Your plan decides how many you get; Agency lets you buy more. This page is the team-side view of seats — for the billing mechanics (proration, invoices, the ceiling), see adding Agency seats.
What a seat is
One person takes one seat, and a few details catch people out:
- You count. The owner is a seat, so a 3-seat plan is you plus two others.
- Pending invites count. A seat is taken the moment you invite someone, before they've logged in. Cancel a pending invite to give the seat back.
- Roles don't cost extra. An Admin, an Editor and a Viewer all take exactly one seat — the role is about what they can do, not what they cost.

The seat counter
The Members card at the top of the Team page shows used of available. It turns amber as you get close and red when you're full. At the limit, the invite form is blocked and a nudge points you to upgrade or add seats — you'll never accidentally invite past your plan.
Adding seats on Agency
Agency is the only plan with buyable seats. Each extra seat is $25/month, and it does two things:
- Adds a person — one more seat to invite into.
- Adds credits — every extra seat also adds 1,000 credits a month to your shared wallet.
You buy them from Billing → Manage seats — it adjusts your subscription and the credits appear on your account. The full mechanics, including what you're charged mid-cycle and the maximum, are on adding Agency seats.
On annual billing, extra seats follow the same yearly cycle as your plan — so a seat is effectively ten months' price, two months free, same as the plan.
Freeing a seat
To get a seat back, remove a teammate or cancel a pending invite from their row. The seat opens immediately and you can invite someone new into it. Removing people never reduces what you're billed on its own — on Agency, lower the seat count in Billing → Manage seats if you want to stop paying for the extra capacity.
