Billing — what you pay, and what you get.
Your plan, your renewal date, your seats and your credit balance — all on one page. And the second page, Manage billing, where the cards and invoices live.
Everything about what you pay and what you get for it lives on one page. Billing tells you which plan you're on, when it renews, how many seats you've used, and how many credits are left this month.
There are two pages, not one. Billing is the summary and the place you change plan. Billing → Manage billing is where the money lives: cards, invoices, your credit ring, and cancelling.
Your plan card
The card at the top of Billing is the answer to "what am I actually on".
- The plan name — Free, Starter, Pro or Agency.
- The status badge —
Active,Past due, orFree. Past due means a payment failed and Stripe is retrying. You still have full access; see if a payment fails. - The price you're paying — per month, or per year if you're on annual billing, with a badge saying so.
- Your renewal date — the day the next charge lands and your credits refill. If you've cancelled, this line changes to say the subscription ends on that date instead.
If you have ever paid us, a Manage billing & invoices button sits at the bottom of the card. On the Free plan there's nothing to manage, so it isn't there.
The seat counter
Below the plan card, a bar shows seats used out of seats available. The count includes you.
It turns amber as you approach the limit and red when you hit it. On Agency, a Manage seats button appears here — that's where you buy extra seats. See adding Agency seats.
How your AI generation is paid for
The next card explains the two ways generation gets paid for, because they're easy to confuse:
- Included credits — every plan comes with a monthly credit allowance. Writing a post, generating an article or running an audit spends from it. The full price list is on the credits page.
- Your own AI key — connect a provider under AI Models and generation runs on your provider's account at their prices instead of ours.
The plan picker
The bottom of the page is the plan grid: Starter, Pro and Agency, with a Monthly / Annual toggle above them. Annual is billed as ten months — two months free.
Each card shows the price, the monthly credit allowance, and what's included. The plan you're on is marked Current and its button is disabled. Picking any other plan takes you to Stripe. See buying a plan and changing plan.
Manage billing — the deeper page
Billing → Manage billing is a real page inside ScoutRival, not a redirect to Stripe. It holds:
- Your cards, which is the default, and how to add another.
- Your billing information — the name, company and address that appear on invoices.
- Your last twelve invoices, each with a PDF.
- Cancel, and Resume if you've already cancelled.
All of it is covered in payment methods & invoices.
The credit ring
The orange ring on Manage billing is your monthly allowance at a glance: the big number is what's left, the smaller line is what you started with, and the label underneath is the date it refills.
The ring shows your monthly allowance. It does not include one-time credits — a Lifetime block, for example, sits in a separate bucket that survives every reset. Your credits page is the complete picture.
Credits do not roll over. Whatever's left in the ring on your renewal date is replaced, not added to.
