Send your daily brief to Discord.
ScoutRival posts your brief into a Discord channel using a channel Webhook. Create it in your server settings, paste the URL into ScoutRival, and you're done.
A Discord Webhook is a per-channel URL that lets an app post messages into that channel. You need Manage Webhooks permission on the server (server owners and admins have it by default).
Create the webhook in Discord
Open the channel's integrations
In your Discord server, hover the target channel → click the gear (Edit Channel) → Integrations → Webhooks.
New Webhook
Click New Webhook, name it “ScoutRival”, and confirm the channel it posts to.
Copy the Webhook URL
Click Copy Webhook URL. It looks like this:
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/123456789012345678/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Paste it into ScoutRival
Channels → Discord
In ScoutRival, go to Channels, pick Discord, and paste the URL into Discord target.
Set the hour + timezone → Add channel → Test
Pick your delivery hour and timezone, click Add channel, then hit Test — a sample brief posts to your Discord channel.
Your daily brief now posts to that Discord channel at your chosen hour.
Troubleshooting
- “Unknown Webhook” error? The webhook was deleted in Discord — create a new one and paste the new URL.
- No Webhooks option? You need Manage Webhooks permission on that server. Ask an admin, or use a server you manage.
- Need to stop it? Pause or delete the channel in Active channels, or delete the webhook in Discord.
